Sentinel
1
Sentinel 1 (S1) a versatile multifunction 'energy change' sensing device.
Unlike EMF meters, S1 does not detect the usual combined electromagnetic
field.
S1 is able to detect changes in electric or magnetic fields individually
via the selected sensor.
S1 displays changes of energy level in both 'positive' & 'negative'
polarity from an initially centred (or zeroed) LED display.
The LEDS will progressively and individually illuminate left to indicate
'negative' and right to indicate 'positive'.
The change in energy can also be heard as tone with adjustable volume
level.
The standard unit is equipped with an electric field sensor and a magnetic
field sensor.
An auxiliary input is available for external (approved) sensors.
These include
Cctvmd - An interface that allows the S1 to monitor any standard
composite video signal.
This signal can be from a camcorder or cctv camera. The signal source
then becomes a 'light change' sensing instrument whilst still recording
or linked to a monitor.
Light sensor - An infrared emitter and receiver showing any changes
in background light level or when an infrared reflective object is close
by.
Crystal - Quartz crystals when vibrated produce a very small voltage,
the S1 can detect and show that vibration on the LED display.
Low Frequency 'infrasound' - A sensor that detects airborne vibration
and very low frequency sound, (this is not an audio amplifier)
Plants - During experiments, I have carefully connected a Dracaena
plant to Sentinel, which gave some interesting results.
(All external sensors are add-on units, they are not supplied with the
base unit.)
S1 has various adjustable levels of sensitivity to suit a location and
the selected sensor.
S1 is capable of detecting changes of an electric field <1mV (0.001
volt)
and changes of static earth magnetic field at <0.25 gauss at 0 hertz
It can be used for a base line tests during a walk-around of a location,
but is most suited as a stationary monitor during a vigil.

In my view detecting minute changes in electric fields has more relevance
in detecting evidence of paranormal activity than using an EMF meter.
EMF meters predominantly detect mains generated electromagnetic fields.

In addition to the features of S1, the S1(ng) has a preset level - tone
alert switch and 2 additional LED indicators.
If the S1(ng) detects an energy level above a preset level a tone will
sound for approximately 2 seconds
and a blue (-) or green (+) LED will illuminate during this time.
Light meter/Infrared Reflectometer
A multy use light meter designed for use in low visible light conditions.
The relative light level is indicated by the LED display increasingly
illuminating to the right.
It is also equipped with a switched, pulsed infrared emitter for use
in 0 lux light conditions.
With a range of approximately 3 meters, any object capable of reflecting
infrared light will cause the LED display to increasingly illuminate
to the right, whilst pulsing the LEDs to indicate it is the IR light
emitted from the meter. The LED display will indicate the relative
distance of the object.
The meter is also equipped with a switched, ultraviolet LED to aid
our night vision and is fitted with a variable sensitivity control
to allow adjustment for varied locations.

Laser detection system
This is a two-part system consisting of a laser emitter module and
a light receiver module.
The receiver has two LEDs, green indicating sufficient light is received,
red indicating an interruption of light has occurred.
A tone is also emitted if an interruption of light has occurred; this
can be switched off if required.
The red LED and tone are active for approximately 2 seconds
The receiver will work with a strong 'normal' light source at short
range.
Laser light can travel several hundred meters; with the optional
of mirrors most large locations can be covered.
The examples below are of how the system can be set up for room
monitoring, persons present can also benefit from the additional
illumination of laser light.
Although not supplied with mirrors, these are available from discount
shops at very little cost, the only limit to the number of mirrors
used is that each mirror distorts the laser light slightly, but
when correctly set up, if the beam of laser light is broken the
alarm will trigger.
The system has a variable sensitivity control to allow for varying
lighting conditions.

The system can be used in large or small rooms, to cover
'trigger objects' and the beam can travel through glass.
The transmitter and receiver can be some distance from the investigation
area.
Other mirror arrangements can be utilised than those shown above, use
your best judgement for a given location
Enhanced night vision torch
The night vision torch is an optical enhancement system for our eyes,
still cameras and camcorders.
During daylight our eyes are most sensitive to the green/yellow colour
spectrum, during low light and complete darkness this sensitivity changes
to blue/ultraviolet.
To enhance this 'night vision' the torch is equipped with high brightness,
blue and ultraviolet LEDs, it is also equipped with infrared LEDS to provide
an alternative type of 0 lux lighting for night vision capable camcorders.
The torch can switch the LEDs continuously, pulse them at
a manually selected frequency or pulse them at an increasing frequency,
until a preset maximum is reached, when the cycle repeats.
The ability of the torch to pulse the LEDS is similar to flashing/strobe
light pointed at a running tap, the ability to freeze moments in time
and illuminate a single drop of water.
I speculate that a ghost or spirit might exist at a certain, but not yet
known frequency.
As the torch cycles through a large range of frequencies, one of those
pulsing frequencies might illuminate the ghost or spirit when a resonating
or harmonic frequency is emitted.
This equipment should be operated by vigilant investigators as I believe
this new technology offers a previously unseen opportunity to see with
the naked eye and record an image of a ghost or spirit.
